A Little Bit About Who We Are:

Salvadora Studios is a small indie game developer based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.


    Our primary goal is to create great games. Great games that feel fun to play, and reward you for using your brain. We plan on remaining as independent as possible. We want to make our own choices and make our games unique. We all believe that fun in games should be a given, and the relationship between developer and player be a friendly and mutually beneficial one.


    Lend us a hand in creating one of the best game developers out there!


Meet The Team:


Salvadora Studios was created from a group of like-minded individuals from Recording Arts Canada's Game Design course in 2013. They strive to improve both themselves and the industry in their own ways.


Jacob Salverda - Owner, Project Lead

    Jake is the founder of Salvadora Studios, and the project lead for The Floor Is Made of Lava. He's also a game designer, team manager, programmer and writer, and in his spare time he helps with animation. Truly a Jake-of-all-trades. Jake is very familiar with Unity, 3ds Max, Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator. C# and Action Script are his go-to programming languages.


Felipe Becker -  Programmer

    Phil (as he likes to be called) is a Brazilian national here on a student visa, eager to acquire Canadian citizenship. Even though he is skilled in 3D modelling and animation in 3ds Max, his real talent lies in programming. His specialty is AI but he does it all, from player mechanics to UI and leader boards. Phil is familiar with the Unity and Unreal engines, as well as Flash. His programming specialties are C#, C++, Action Script and Java Script. He recently graduated in 2015 from RCC Institute of Technology, further pursuing his interest in Game Programming.


Jeff Yeomans - Concept Artist, General Artist

    Jeff is the oddball (but talented) artist of the group. A true lover of metal and movies, he'll talk your ear off about plots, actors and tropes, and rivals even Stephen Colbert in LOTR knowledge. Jeff specializes in digital painting and design within Photoshop and Illustrator, having graduated from Mohawk Art School in 2012.


Ricardo Giarratana - Level Designer, Music Lead

    Ricardo is a very talented musician and composer, and runs his own studio in Venezuela while living here in Canada. But music isn't where his skills end, as he also has that jack-of-all-trades element in him, and excels in every aspect of game development. He's helping to work on The Floor Is Made of Lava in his free time.


Adam Cave Roberts - Quality Assurance

    Adam comes with a life-long love and passion of games. Paying keen attention to details while playing and designing games, he tends to catch many frustrating bugs. He also plays drums, piano, and runs a music podcast. He graduated from Sheridan College with a BA in game design and intends to continue to pursue design.
